About the Network:
Many alumni came back to campus to share stories and re-connect with each other. The event was the first meeting of the newly formed CSCC Dental Hygiene Alumni Network, an initiative of the Development Foundation. The group plans to have an event each year offering continuing education credits to all alumni who attend as well as networking with alumni through Facebook. Give Back:
A scholarship fund was also initiated to honor Connie Grossman RDH. Connie Grossman has been with the program since the beginning, from Adjunct Faculty to Program Coordinator Chairperson of Allied Health Professions, which includes Dental Hygiene.
The scholarship is called The Connie Grossman Scholarship Fund. The scholarship will be awarded to a worthy second year dental hygiene student. The fund has been started by Alumni to move the program forward and to provide for future Dental Hygienists. Funds may be donated to the scholarship here.
Re-Connect:
Get involved again with Columbus State Dental Hygiene. The Dental Hygiene Alumni Network plans to continue to keep Alumni involved in continuing education, professional development, networking and keep in touch!
